IMO A
sub is singular so all choices with are,they , them i.e B,C,D and E are having sub verb agreement

ok No one is singular so use of are is wrong so D and E are out
now deal is singular so was is to be used so left with A and B . i am not clear between to buy or for buying which one to be choosen? please anyone can clear it

On B, the "they" makes the sentence plural. So, it is wrong.

OA is A.
I missed the 'them' in option C.
