A. a visa a landing card, and evidence of inoculation against typhoid fever would be needed by each of them.
B. they would need a visa, a landing card , and evidence of their being inoculated against typhoid fever
C. they would need evidence of being inoculated against typhoid fever and a visa and landing card
D. they would each need a visa, a landing card, and evidence of inoculation against typhoid fever
E. they would need visas, landing cards, and evidence of inoculation against typhoid fever for each of them
Answer: D (Why not E?)
E is also wrong because of the misplaced - each of them - this means each of traveller would require evidence of inoculation against typhoid fever.
The intended meaning of the sentence is each of the traveller would require the following things 1) a visa 2) a landing card and 3) evidence of inoculation against typhoid fever

Hi
In answer choice B: 'are blaming' is incorrect because this implies that the blame is happening at the same moment as they are agreeing with each other. B is better. 'are VERBing' emphasizes the ongoing nature of an action. Someone please correct if I am wrong.
