F(0) = F(0)^2
F(0) = 1 or 0
It could be either

Lets say x=0 and y=1
Then,F(0+1)=F(0)F(1)
=>F(1) = F(0)F(1)
=>F(1)[F(0) - 1] = 0
Hence,either
F(1) = 0 or F(0) = 1.
Hence the option would be B.

F(X+Y)=F(x)F(y) -putting x= 0 , y = 1, we get F(0+1) = F(0) F(1)--->( f(0)-1)f1 =0 -->
f(0) Ans D
Giorgio wrote:if F(X+Y)=F(x)F(y) what is F(0) ?

Dude,
How can you conclude D as answer from ( f(0)-1)f1 =0
either f1 =0
or f(0) = 1

Dunno ...but as a guess
Also :-
F(1+0) = F(1). F(0)
F(1) = F(1) => F(0) = 1
Hence My answer is B
