Freshman student in Gmat

by kukien28 » Mon Oct 15, 2012 1:17 pm
I am in my last year in BA and I am going to apply for my dream school in January 2014. I have just started studying Gmat for one month and my target is 700. However, I do not know how I can start on my preparation for Gmat. I am doing a lot of practice in some books but I could not see any improvement by myself. How could I start beating the GMAT? Pls give some advice.
Do you think that 1 year is enough for me to reach my target?
Thank you

1 year is actual too much if you ask me. Honestly 3-4 months should be enough. If you're not seeing any improvement, either you are not studying properly or you are not using the right books. Identify whether its the former of latter and then you will be able to do better.

I agree with rishi raj. Students who plan to spend a year preparing for the GMAT often use up all 12 months because they're not focused on the task at hand.

To help you stay on track, and ensure that you cover all of the necessary concepts, you might consider signing up for BTG's free Study Guide: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-guide
