Hi,
Will there be any negative impact of my chosing establishing a venture in my home country after MBA rather than in the country of my MBA ?

I ask this because I have come to know that european schools and economy really needs entrepreneurs in europe. So, if I apply to european schools, what are the odds that my goals, as mentioned above, are not taken favorably ?

One of the greatest advantage of an MBA to an entrepreneur would be access to a great network and finding like minded individuals to connect to. Additionally it gives a decent flavor of economic and business conditions in that geo. Which is why perhaps it makes sense to plan MBA in the geography you want to open up a business in.

Having said so, if you are really keen on some B-school in a different geography, there would be certain aspects of a B-school which would appeal to you and you would need to bring those out in the essays. For example an Entrepreneurship Centre of Excellence a school has, or an excellent incubator which is tied to the school, which invests in certain specific businesses. If you bring these points out they will be seen in a positive light.

I would say that there is one big disadvantage to entrepreneurial goals in your home country as a goal to present the AdCom and that is - it's not really that convincing. I think the large majority of candidates think that immediately after Bschool they will go off and start up something and make a billion dollars, etc. etc. which is all nice and well, but for the AdCom they want goals that are solid, concrete, logical and plausible....

Sooo, in general I only recommend entrepreneurial goals (whether in your home country or elsewhere, it's not that relevant), ONLY if you have some basis for it in your past experience - like you have already started two firms and this will be your third, or you have plans to take over the family business...

Thanks Ivyctor and Jon.
@Jon: Your suggestion is tangential to what I had asked.
I plan to taking up entrepreneurship after my MBA and that is already decided. If you re-read my post above, you'll see that I am not asking about taking en'ship or not. You suggest that it does not matter whether I plan on doing en'ship in my home country or in the country of my MBA. ?

dhonu,
I was addressing your second question, about how favorable the schools will take your goals, and my opinion is that actually you should not present entrepreneurship as a goal at all!

Of course I'm not telling you not to take up entrepreneurship, but my comment was a broader question of your idea to present entrepreneurial goals to the schools, in light of the way it may affect your chances of getting in. Of course, once you get in to the program, you study what you want, and then subsequently do what you want with your life, but the broader question is how to strategize your goals to give yourself the best possible chances when applying.

As for the second thing: "Europe really needs entrepreneurs" - yes, maybe, but this is a very broad subject. One of the reasons Europe lags behind in entrepreneurship (and of course this varies totally from country to country) is because of business laws. Do Europeans feel they need foreigners of an "entrepreneurial type" to come to Europe???

Not necessarily, (I guess the French would prefer French entrepreneurs)
If you came and were successful would they be unhappy?? I guess not either.

Bu the answer about impact (which I assume means in the eyes of the AdCom) of choosing home country or Europe or elsewhere can only be evaluated based on the specificity both of your experience as well as what you propose and how one will lead to the other.
