energy conservation

The benefits of having many trees on one's property range from insulation and energy conservation in summer and winter, cleaning the air, and increases property value.

A. cleaning the air, and increases
B. cleaning the air, and increasing
C. cleaner air, and increases in
D. to cleaner air, to increases in
E. to cleaner air, and increases in

I have narrowed the answer down to D and E but I am not convinced with the OA (D).
to cleaner air, to increases in doesn't sound right.

D and E are the only ones that give us the from *x* to *y* construction that we need.

D gives us from *x* to *y* to *z*, which is unusual but not incorrect as far as I can tell. If we put it into our own example:

"The zoo's exhibits ranged from lions to bears to sharks. "

It works.
