Classical guitar was neither prestigious nor was often played in concert halls until it was revived by Andres Segovia in the mid-twentieth century, having been won over by the instrument's sound despite its relative obscurity.

OA: E

neither ...nor construction..

A,B, & E

In both A and B: having been is incorrect construction.

E: is in the active form...when he was won over...

check grammar

check the words following neither and nor to see that the words are not paralel. A, E is out

check meaning

in B, having been refer to guitar, not logic, VERY HARD to realize this

in the mid-20 is placed wrongly in d

Neither X nor Y .. X and Y should be parallel..A, B and E are out..

remaining is C and D... in D, "was it performed " .. it can refer to either guitar or prestige .. not clear here ..

Answer is C
"Native of" is used for a individual while "Native to" is used for a large group

I would go for C as well.

Using neither - nor rule, A, D and E are out.

Out of B and C: In B, having been tries to modify the century.
I would have loved to see more clear verbs in C to show action sequence, but that's fine.

IMO: C

I choose C.

In A) "having been won over" should modify segovia, not century.
B) Same as A)
D) Passive, prefer active construction
E) Not parallel
