A company has decided to monitor how long their employees spend at lunch and on break. What would be a potential consequence of this action?

1)

The company will be better able to distinguish between delinquent and diligent employees.

2)

Employees will be more careful and avoid long breaks.

3)

Employees will be stressed about having to reduce their break time.

4)

Labour turnover will increase as a result of implementing such a policy.

5)

None of the above

My answer is 1.I will not go with 2 because employees don't know if they are being monitored and may be the company is working on making a list of employees who are diligent and delinquent to promote them or give incentive accordingly.I MAY BE WRONG.

Given answer:2 /which i dont think is right. What do you guys think?

Hi vipinsharma,

What is the source of this question? I ask because it's not written in GMAT "format" and actually includes a grammar error ("A company" is a singular subject, so the correct pronoun would be "ITS" - not "their").
