Hi All,

I took GMAT last month and scored a 690. I have over 4 years of experoence in IT field and my GPA in graduatuin was 3.6. I have been actively involved in social services and German language learning. My current proficiency in German is basic.(A1 level completed)

I am considering to do my MBA from Germany. First of all, can anybody tell me what are the job opportunities in Germany post MBA for a non-German, non EU candidate like me. Also I could figure out these 3 schools as of now. Can anybody throw some light on how good these schools are?

1. Mannheim Business School
2. HHL, Leipzig
3. WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management

Regards,
Shaheen

Germany's economy is doing better than that of most of its continental cousins. Whether that stays the case by the time you graduate remains to be seen. Generally speaking, German business schools (including the ones you mentioned) are all solid, but not necessarily highly ranked in Europe. FT, for example, ranks the only three German b-schools in top 70 European schools. 3 out of 70 is either a bias by FT against Germany or a reflection of state of business education there.

You may be better off seeking an MBA in the UK, France, or Spain, if you want wider currency of your MBA. If you prefer Germany still, you will have good opportunities within Germany after your MBA.

Also consider University of Cologne in that list.

Hope that helps.
