Analysis of diagnostic test

by rrkan » Mon Aug 10, 2009 5:43 pm
Can one of the Knewton rep's answer please

I took the diagnostic test yesterday and scored only 640. I missed only 6 questions in verbal and 6 in Quant, my scaled scores are only V33 Q45
I have written GMAT prep tests recently with close to 10 mistakes in each section I could score 720. SO that kind of worries because knewton score has changed my understanding of GMAT scoring completely.

Can somebody please clarify why such a low score even with fewer mistakes.

I am planning on joining your course from this week onwards, but it helps if somebody can clarify the score on diagnostic test little bit.

Thanks for your time

Hi rrkan,

Our psychometricians put together a fantastic CAT FAQ that you should check out: https://www.knewton.com/gmat/faq. It should help with some of your questions.

As a Knewton student, if you have more individual questions about your particular situation, please email us at [email protected].

Cheers,

Jose
