IMO E

stubbornp is correct with the explanations, though I would like to add a simple point

(A) that employers should retain all older workers
Construction is not parallel, should retain or show... conjunctions should have parallel structure...
Terrified by the GMAT

or, how about the verb "Retain" should match with the other verb "show"!
So the correct choices filter to A and E.
And for the same reason 'llism , A is out!
please comment!

i understand why E is correct. But this sentence 'requiring that.. '' is not taking this sentence into subjunctive mood??? if so, what's the problem with B? B is in subjunctive mood isn't it?

@kiranlegend, B is less preffered here becuse it is a passive construction, I think so. Between I chose B at the first instance :)

thanks reachac.. i think so. it might have been rejected due to its passiveness.. however, my qeustion is: is requiring that calls for subjunctive mood??

E is parellel but how do we know that we have to choose E which doesnt use that after requiring? where as in B, it suffices both require.. that and subjunctive.. any thoughts??

Require is a subjunctive word.. shudnt it be followed by "That"?

any explanations for this will be highly appreciated.!!
