answer to your 2nd question - nope it would still be incorrect. logically you can't place attended in parallel with developed, however grammatically it may be ok.

it depends on the context of the sentence. data can be singular or plural, although it is considered singular by the vast majority of english speakers.

Pronoun ambiguity is not an absolute rule but it is effective in this particular sentence as we have another choice which does not suffer from ambiguity.

Hi Anju,

My understanding of St1 is that there is only one point of intersection with the x axis. If that is true we can rule out y=0 which makes st 1 sufficient. What am I missing here?

We don't know who "her" is in choice A. In order to refer back to Aphra, you need comma -ing. Plus comma And Published construction is wrong. There's no need for a comma there.
