With that, I think you should take 6.7 classes. If you thought I was being serious with that last comment please withd...

That being said, you can comb through all of these evaluation requests and find a common belief from Amy and others that the process is holistic....

Application Question
Ma'am, With regards to the application should the core questions such as employment be treated with the same uniqueness and creativity as the essays? Understand that they are pretty straight forward questions (skills acquired, responsibilities etc.) so just seeking clarification so I am not writing ...

Question for Amy
Amy, 2 questions coming at you... Thanks for the RFDF information and the "no-duh" answer to my recommender question. I have since been named a final four candidate for RFDF. So, I re-took the GMAT and was unable to improve on my previous score ... I am sure it was because there were solar...

I want to go back to school for a couple of reasons including personal satisfaction I think you answered it yourself when you wrote the above. Given your situation, I am sure that could describe why you didn't score as high as you would have liked on the GMAT until you are blue in the face to an ad...

Clayton, I took a Kaplan course about 6 weeks prior to taking the test. So I went from 500 to 650 in a little over 6 weeks. I felt that Kaplans methods for tackling the verbal section are great overall. I was lucky enough to have a friend that is very active on these forums suggest the Manhattan SC ...

Amy and Chris,
Thank you for the advice and the support. I guess the real question is whether a 30-50 point increase on my GMAT would improve my chances for admission. Any thoughts?

650 (38Q, 41V)
First off and foremost I am satisfied with my overall score. I am not like the posters that get a 700+ and are disappointed. I am hoping that my job as an Army Officer plus interviews/essays will push me in to the accepted pile at a top 25 program. I scored a 500 on my diagnostic so I have showed mu...
