I have been debating between Schulich and HEC Montreal for a while now. You have probably noticed that had started a thread on this topic. After much thought, I truly believe that choosing an MBA in Canada is all about where you want to work post-MBA. None of the schools in Canada have a fantastic i...

Rankings: QS Global 200 Business School Report

Hi all,

The popular rankings seem to be FT, Business Week and Economists.
What are your thoughts on the rankings found in http://www.topmba.com/mba-rankings ?

Changing school after you paid deposit and register

Hi, I was wondering what happens if you decide to change school after you paid a deposit and started selecting courses. If you drop your courses and have not yet paid any tuition, do you still have a record there? The reason I ask is because I am scheduled to start my MBA in the Fall, but I might in...

sch, It may not look like it, but I'm actually leaning towards Schulich. I'm defending the HEC choice, since I want be completely sure that Schulich is for me. If you were promoting the HEC program, I would probably do the opposite. :) By the way, the full-time HEC MBA program is also offered in Eng...

Actually, what you did during your undergrad is not different than what some students do at the MBA level at Schulich. The dire...

You bring some interesting points. Perhaps Ivey's change to a one-year program may hurt its reputation down the road, but it is too early to say as it is still the most reputable bschool in Canada. It's an interesting point that you make about starting salaries and salaries after five years. However...

No I wasn't referring to the racist comments. The things I've read about is how Ivey and Rotman get all the recruiters in Toronto and how Schulich students have to find their own jobs instead of through the career centre. However, I am unclear whether people were referring specifically to i-banking ...

HEC Montreal or Schulich

Hello, I have been accepted to both programs! Which one should I choose? I live in Montreal and would probably like to work there post-mba, but I would not mind working in Toronto especially if it's for a good job. HEC doesn't seem to participate in many rankings while Schulich is strongly positione...
