Hey Jim,

Thanks a lot for your response. I understand it much more now. As a non native English speaker, I considered V-ing only as gerund. I forgot that it could also be an adjective. It makes a lot more sense now! Great explanation!

Subject phrases and Clauses: always singular?

Hey guys if you could help me with this one I would really appreciate it. Rising inventories, when unaccompanied correspondingly by increases in sales, can lead to production cutbacks that would hamper economic growth. A - when unaccompanied correspondingly by increases in sales, can lead B - when n...

I would go with B too. However, something is bothering me. "they" in "they are blurred and indistinct", could refer either to the industries or to the lines of competition, and therefore will make the sentence confusing. Am I right or it is just my interpretation?

Thanks

Thanks for the answer Kel ! I do agree about E as the answer. I just don't understand what are the values or p and q in either cases + combine. But most important, I don't get WHY the book give those values of q and p as the answers. And I think that "seanceserene" has the same problem. So...

I just wanna know why. Because I just don't get the explanation. I hate prime numbers, it's so easy but so confusing...

Let me know if you find out any answers

Thx

So basically when a question contains pretty much "AND" I should be looking for the Primes in the Venn Graph (cf MGMAT Guide #1) I use for the GCF. Correct ?

Thx for the reply !
