I really love the paradox of business school. No-one applying to top schools like h/s/w will ever answer the "What is most important to you and why?" with: Well I'm really in it for the money, just want to make a killing and then retire in thailand. No, most essays are about integrity, hon...

I think work experience shouldn't be overrated that much. Many of the top programs have laid the emphasize on "demonstrated leadership potential", while work experience is definately the number one choice to do this, there are other ways to achieve the same. That being said, when you don't...

I would definately go and retake it. For instance: Harvard disencourages anyone lower then 109 to even apply. You don't want such a silly score to ruin your application.

Why is it not E? Because it says "Sales had IMPROVED by less than 1%". If a new similar restaurant is in town, I can think of no actual reasons why sales would still improve. I admit that if you would count the loss (new restaurant) and gain (new management) there could still be a very sli...

E is wrong because the fundamental issue is that the hospital loses money due to lack of coverage from government health plans and the not insured. Private health plans aren't part of the problem, so improving those won't help you. The reason is as following: Fundamental issue 1) Lack of coverage du...

It all depends on your profile. If you feel you are up for a challenge, do R3. It largely depends on how you scale against your peers, are you a valedictorian and got 4.0GPA undergrad from cambridge? Go for it! That being said, you should also consider empowering your application and going for R1 ne...

You should clearly identify where you go wrong, take a couple of CATs and look where you're going wrong. When you're way far into the training process on the GMAT, it's useless to study the foundations AGAIN. So yet again, identify, specify, eliminate.

I have some questions aswell: This is mostly towards international students: "How do people match up?" Do they mainly gang up with their "study group", or are people of different backgrounds clustering together? I.e. Internations with internationals, US east with US east, etc. Al...

I forgot to add that I'm not up to the point I described in the OP. I'm thinking of applying in R1 of Class of 2014. I haven't taken the GMAT/ToEFL yet, but I tend to score extremely well on standardized tests (Did two at 99,9th+ percentile each). I have already developed a studyplan for english/GMA...

PowerScore GMAT CR Bible VS Powerscore LSAT LR Bible
I have PowerScore LSAT LR Bible, but I'm in doubt whether I should buy the GMAT CR Bible or not, I read through the free excerpt of GMAT CR, but it's identical to chapter 2 in LR. When I look on amazon GMAT CR is 305 pages, in contrast to LSAT LRs' 541 pages. Does anyone have both books and can enli...

Like the OP posted.
Nowhere it says that d has to be an integer.
If d =1.1 12d = 13.2, cannot be divided by 6.
IF d = integer, then YES
IF d= not defined, then CBD

15x + 29y = 440
Y should be modified by 0,5,10 because no other value can result in 440 while keeping x an integer.
440/15 = not an integer
440-145/15 = not an integer
So Y=10 and X=10
I is sufficient. A
