This happened to me too recently.....I took last week off...didn't look at a single thing and now I'm ready to get back to it. I'm going to have to redo my study schedule but oh well!! I needed some "mental" days!!

The Manhattan GMAT books are awesome! I've used them to study and they are great at "dumbing" it down and they have great suggestions on pretty much every topic!! Definitely a great and must buy!

The scrap paper they give you are the plastic paper-like things. Actually you know what it reminded me of....the transparency sheets that professors use! You get a pen like that too and you can't erase them....they can only be erased with Windex. But you get a cool spiral-bound thing of them....more...

I second what Greg is saying! I am horrible at math and the workbooks have helped me immensely. But like Greg said, you need to be diligent about staying caught up with the class. That was my biggest downfall with it. I fell behind for 2 weeks and it just snowballed from there. It's hard to get caug...

Nisha: I took the online version of the class. It's amazing! And like Greg said, they give you a study plan. Even though I feel behind twice, I'm still using that same study plan to try to figure out things. But I think a lot of my problems with the math is that I do not have fundamentals....it's be...

Nisha - I completely understand where you are coming from. I've been studying for the GMAT for the last 9 months off and on. It's a huge time committment. But like Greg said, the Manhattan GMAT online course is awesome. Just be sure that you have the time to do it. It is an intense course that is 9 ...

I soooo know what you guys are going through. I'm the exact same way. I take the test this Saturday and I'm just hoping to get over 500. I gave up on the practice tests because they were so discouraging (430 & 470) I have also been trying to set aside 2 hours a night during the week and then hit...

I completely agree with Eric. It is just a stupid standardized test. I went to an open house for Georgia State's MBA program over the weekend and they went into great depth regarding the GMAT. The director of the program explained that although they do look at your scores, during your interview they...

I'm with you - I love a good nap when I get home from work. Helps me recharge!! I just did the timing strategy lab last night and it was amazing. Really helpful. I don't have a problem with time on the test....but it helped me to realize that if I can't figure the problem out in 2 minutes - I'm not ...

Oh to be able to take time off of work to study for this insane test!! Oh how I wish life could just be put on hold so I could study. But to no avail, life goes on whether or not I want to take this test. I've been trying my hardest to put aside at least 2 hours of study time each day. That hasn't e...

Okay - so let's say I don't send them to my pick of schools - and I do obtain the score I'm trying to reach (hahahaha), won't they still see it even if I don't send them to them? Or do I have to officially send the scores to them?
