Hi moadhia,

I think B is incorrect because it is saying that there is a hypothesis of mental functions instead of a hypothesis of their existence -- it doesn't make any sense! A is overly wordy and awkward compared to C.

I think the answer is C.

You need that following indicates, so you can immediately eliminate D and E. A and B are both awkward with the ratio phrasing.

Although their in C is somewhat ambiguous, so now I'm second guessing myself.

ST, have you tried eliminating distractions in the room by using earplugs, not sitting yourself in front of a window, etc?

I guess concentration also just takes practice. It's something I definitely need to get better at!
