Just to echo aim-wsc's comment--yes, Canadians are more than welcome to apply, as are any international candidates!

Look forward to reading your application. I'll also set aside my bias toward the Detroit Red Wings. Smile

If you are a scholarship winner, you will find out on May 22. On that same day you can sign up for your MGMAT class if you'd like. Smile

Good luck!

So I noticed that the 2008 scholarship deadline was 11:59 PST ... is this the same timing deadline for 2009? Smile

Thanks to Manhattan GMAT and Stacy Blackman Consulting for providing this amazing opportunity again this year!

I am wondering about the two required references. What sort of references is Manhattan GMAT looking for? I haven't yet told my boss that I will be applying to business school and possibly leaving my job, so I would prefer not to use references from my current place of employment if possible.

Is it mandatory to have a PayPal account?
I am not sure how that works so although I googled it, did not find enough.

Yes, it's a requirement to have a Paypal account. This is the only means we have at the moment to transfer the cash prizes safely to you. We have lot checks and cash in the mail before. Sad

More info at http://www.paypal.com. It should be free to open an account.

Thanks,

Eric

Good question. This isn't defined in the instructions and we aren't going to be picky about subject line. But one suggestion:

Scholarship Entry: YOUR NAME

Thanks!

Quick question regarding Manhattan GMAT prize.

Hypothetically speaking....If someone takes the Manhattan GMAT in March and wins the scholarship in May. Will that person get reimbursed for the class?

Thanks!
