Is there someplace else that I should be posting?

Any suggestions as to where I can find help?

Help needed with an unusual, mixed application.

I recognize that my application will be a mixed bag and probably not very common. Personally, I have no doubt that I will be able to successfully complete any program I get into (even if I am working full-time), but finishing with a high GPA is another matter. Based upon my practice scores, I assume...

I have to ask... Why is a PhD/JD taking the GMAT, too?! Are you going to add "MBA" to your resume?! You must love school! I do love school, but there are a couple of practical reasons, too. I had a good job before I started law school and managed to get through it without any debt. As I b...

Just a quick update...

They said that it would take up to 20 days to get my official scores, but they just arrived this morning (only 5 days after the exam). Scores didn't change and I got the 6 on the AWA. Now for the long slog of writing up applications...

Beyond that, I signed up for the GMAT two weeks ago, picked up the Princeton Review and did my pre...

Good and bad qualifications.

Hi Lisa, My business school qualifications are mixed: Good: PhD in mathematics + JD from top-tier schools, good business experience at a fortune 500 and (potentially) solid letters of recommendation, GMATPrep of 780 so I am targeting 750+. I am comfortable with the interview process if I am granted ...

Re: 49Q on Gmat Prep with 17min to spare

I just took the gmat prep and scored a 49 on the math with about 17 min left, missing 10 questions. Looking at the score distribution this is in the 99th percentile. Has anyone gotten higher than 50? My background: I have a PhD in mathematics from a Tier I school and haven't prepped for the math po...
