What if q is 1/5 and t is 1/25, assuming p^2 as 5^2, So in this case the answer would be that we do not know if q is greater than or less than t. In that case statement 1 is not sufficient. How does it matter whether p an...

May I know the source of the question.ashforgmat wrote:Now i am confused as to which is the correct explanation....
if you are at 90th percentile on some parameter means 90% of the group is below you on that parameter.
So in a class of 80 if you are at 90th percentile - 90% i.e. 72 students are below you.

how many points of intersection does Y = (X-1) (X +1) (X-3) have with x axis? Equation of x axis is y=0 so to find the points of intersection, we have to solve y= (X-1) (X +1) (X-3) =0 => (X-1) (X +1) (X-3) =0 x=1, x= -1 and x=3 are the solutions so there are 3 such points where the curve intersect...

"When dividing 26 by 4, 6 is the quotient and 2 is the remainder, because 26=6×4+2."
26/4 = 13/2 ; so by your logic remainder should have been 1 but, instead it is 2.
