Hi Rich, Thanks for the reply. Answers to your questions below: 1) 690 (47Q 37V) 2) I have to retake because I was recently waitlisted at a top 10 program. I asked for feedback, and they mentioned to reconsider retaking. 3) I scored in the mid to high 600s and a few low 700s prior to taking the exam...

690: 30 point increase to 720?
How difficult would it be to improve 30 points from a 690 within a few weeks of studying?
I haven't touched the GMAT for 5 months though.

Waitlisted - What if your retake ends up even lower?
I was recently waitlisted at a top 15 program with a 690 GMAT. I'm almost 30 points below the average, and it seems that the GMAT be the culprit. Would my chances be hurt even more if I end up retaking but end up scoring even lower? Do I have to report the new score?

Which top 20 schools are more flexible on the GMAT score?
For example, (correct me if I'm wrong) but it seems that Wharton, Yale, and Columbia are more stats oriented, compared to say, Kellogg.

Hi Rich, I have no idea... and didn't do anything out of the ordinary. I merely went to the restroom and came back into the room during the 8 minute break after IR. That was when the proctor abruptly stopped me and bluntly accused me of leaving the building. This actually shocked me for a split seco...

Just took the GMAT, and the Proctor ruined my score
Seeking advice... Just took the GMAT (2nd time). Long story short, the proctor randomly accused me of leaving the building after my 8 minute break right after IR. We had a back and forth for a bit and when I went back to the exam, was shocked to see that I was 2 minutes behind schedule. I started of...

Part-time MBA for Career Switch/Reset?
Can a top-ranked PT MBA (e.g. Haas) help one make a career switch? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like PT programs are geared more towards professionals that don't anticipate making a drastic career change but merely want to move up the company/industry?

Stuck in the low 600s - Help?
I have been studying on an off for ~1 year. During the first 2-3 months I improved rapidly, going from the low 500s to consistently scoring in mid 600s on practice tests. However, for the next 8-9 months, I simply couldn't reach the 700 threshold. Most recently, I took my first official GMAT and sco...

Ethical Issue at work: how can I explain in my application?
To make a long story short, I am currently working on a side project for the CEO of a publicly traded company and they asked me to do something that is not exactly illegal, but definitely on the gray side. I do not want to be involved in such gray matters and do not want to carry on with their order...
