What is the OA? My take - A - WRONG. Should have been - As ... people invest ....., they abandon ...... B - CORRECT. Reason - since the non-underlined statement says 'they are abandoning' and not 'they abandon' we need to use present perfect continuous tense and not the simple present tense. C - WRO...

Dear Sir/Madam, how is 'found in Puerto Rico in 1981' modifying 'Fossils' and not 'the arm of a sloth' or even 'sloth'?
In such sentences (type X of Y, modifier) how can we judge which noun is getting modified?
Please suggest.
