The more relevant work experience you have the higher your chances of admission. If you are straight out of undergrad however, your undergraduate GPA will be weighted pretty...

Here's an easier way to look at this problem. we have our formula ((-1)^(k+1))(1/(2^k)) the first part of the formula [(-1)^(k+1)]simply tells us if the resulting number will be positive or negative. For k=1 we get a positive 1. For k=2 we get -1. For k=3, +1, etc... If you notice for every odd valu...

I'm going with C on this one. I don't really have an explanation other than it's the one that sounds the most correct to me. On D ("that would prohibit them from disclosure of its water purification methods to companies") I feel that there should be a "the" in front of "disc...

I also had B in mind. But OA seems to be E! I am confused. It's not B because the rest of the sentence is not referring to his crippled hand as something that he overcame. For "in spite" to work, he would have to still use his crippled hand to paint without guiding it with his left. The s...

I say D as well 1) The first 100 prime numbers from 1 to p+1... counting the first 100 primes we end on 541. Then plus 1 we get 542. So from 1 to 542 there are 100 prime numbers. Sufficient 2) There are 541 prime numbers from 1 to 3912. I found a list of prime numbers on line. Count for yourself. 4x...

Now lets select another list say {0,0,0,0} then the product of any two numbers would be 0 and all numbers equal 0.INSUFFICIENT. (2...

The question only states that x and y are integers. Therefore, substitute positive AND negative values and zero for x. This is where the gap in logic is hitting me. The question states that x > 0. So why are you subbing in 0 and negatives when they don't exist for x? Read above. I did not read the ...

The question only states that x and y are integers. Therefore, substitute positive AND negative values and zero for x. In statement 2: "-y>x" can also be written as "y<x>0" Simplify to get "y<-7x/2." Again try plugging positive and negative values for x. We get the sam...

2) -x|x|>0 implies that x<0>0 which is -1>0 which does not follow the inequality. Plug -1 for x and you will get that x<0. This limits what we can plug into the original equation above. Now plug in any value less than zero and the above equation is true. Therefore, Sufficient (B) I did not get step...
