Hi!

I'm nervous enough about the quantitative and verbal part, but I want to know how the analytical writing parts will affect the score.

Thank You.

The AWA isn't factored into your combined Verbal and Quant score. Your AWA is a separate score that is on a scale from 0 to 6. As long as you score a 4 or over you should be fine.

The AWA section does not change your total numerical Q/V score at all. If you get a Q 50 V 50 you will get an ~800 whether your AWA is a 1 or a 6.

However, you get a separate score for your AWA on the 1-6 scale. It doesn't count for much at all in admissions unless you are a non-native speaker.
