Can you tell us the origin of this question? It does not seem like an official GMAT question for one crucial reason: the GMAT does not use the second person "I" or "we" in Sentence Correction. Be wary of studying from questions that are not similar to real GMAT questions.

Hi,

I do not know the source. I stumbled across this question while I was going through the posts in the forum. The replies posted were not very convincing and hence, the repost.
