I am a 31 year old woman. Can I still apply for a Full-time or has the opportunity closed? I have 8 years of experience as an engineer. I am a programmer. I am an Indian Citizen. My undergrad is from Princeton University in Computer Science and Engineering with a very low GPA of 2.85/4.0. I am preparing for my GMAT now. Considering I have been out of school for so long, getting back to studying has been a bit difficult. I hope to crack a 700+ on the test. I do not have any management experience as I stayed on the technical side of projects. I do have vast technical lead and customer experience that may compensate for the lack of management experience.
I have heard of Exec MBAs and Part-Time MBAs as well. But, I would like to break into consulting post MBA since salaries in tech aren't as high post-MBA in roles such as product management, corporate development etc (Is this true??). In reality, what are my odds at my age?
Would you recommend an exec/PT MBA? Or should I shoot for a FT MBA first?
FT possible at 31/32?

Well, you are for sure not too old for an MBa... buuuuut you do know that consulting firms also prefer younger folks to start off (for people 30+, they find it harder working the 14-hour days and 6-7 day weeks... although this is only one reason among many)...
But you will likely have interesting options in smaller consulting firms/other interesting management positions if you get into a good program.
So it's not too late! But you should apply either this year or next if you can.
