Hi,

I need to know how close are MGMAT scores to GMATPrep or Actual GMAT?

For example: If I get 630 in MGMAT (online CATs) , then what could be the equilvalent score in GMATPrep.

Same for Kaplan. If sumbody gets 570-600 in Kaplan whats the equivalent score in GMATPrep?

Pls help me out with this.

Regards,
AVK

I don't know if there's any clear correlation. My MGMAT scores were anywhere from 70 points lower than my GMATPrep scores (a few days before my test) to 10 points lower than my GMATPrep scores (day before my test). I think on average, they will be somewhat lower than your GMATPrep test scores. The GMATPrep test, in turn, is usually a decent indicator of what your actual score, +/- 30 points or so.

I don't think you should depend on any company's score too much unless it's obviously GMAT Prep itself.

It's tough to say. I scored 640 on the free MGMAT CAT about 2-3 weeks prior to my GMAT. After studying more in those week preceding the test, I scored 750 on test day. In general, my MGMAT and Kaplan scores were always lower than my GMATPrep scores.

Agree with the posters above. No doubt Manhtann has some good/tough questions however I would not corelate the scores from a test prep company to real GMAT scores. I would just use the questions more as practice to gain deeper subject knowledge and as a tool to increase your confidence when facing the real deal. Just my 2 cents and I am in no way trying to talk down on the test prep company gmat scoring algorithms.

Thnx guys.

Appreciate everybody's inputs. :)

Yes I 2nd u "Crmaya". We cannot depend on ny other tests for scores indication.
But I jst wanted to know what to interpret of the scores ihn MGMAT & Kaplan (i mean how much do we add or subtract from those scores to project our actual Gmat scores.

Once again appreciate everyone's inputs.
