by sanjeevbhatia3 » Tue Jun 02, 2009 3:15 pm
I gave GMAT prep twise and got Q45 (12 wrong) and Q42 (19 wrong), but I attamped myself 28 questions everytime, last 9 blind guess each time in last 2 minutes. when I analyze and found that the questions that i made blind guess were so simple, and I could made them right , if i solved them. please help me to pace myself so that I can attemp at least 34 questions.

Dear sanjeev,

The only reason you are not finding enough time to finish the section is because you are investing too much time on a tough question and you find it difficult to just quit, guess and move on. So thats what you gotta train yourself. Take many practice tests and remember that when you cannot solve a problem in 2 mins, then you are not supposed to - so take an intelligent guess and move on.

Second thing that i could suggest is to polish your fundamentals. This will allow you to approach a question and solve it faster..

Thanks hk

I started to review math from OG11 and also MGMAT (all 5 prep guide)
and I found that I am spending more time in data sufficiency than PS questions.

It can be difficult to guess on a tough question and then move on. But it's probably a good solution so you can attempt all of the problems.
