Please only post one question per thread; otherwise it becomes confusing.
"The reason... is because" is idiomatically incorrect (and also redundant). The correct usage is "the reason... is that." Thus, the only idiomatically correct answer is C.sameer_kalra wrote:The reason children play is because they enjoy learning about the world around them.

"suspected whether" is also idiomatically incorrect / redundant. If there is suspicion, we already know that there is uncertainty between two possibilities.
