Hey there,
That's a great question and one without a one-size-fits-all answer. Mostly, people are referencing US News - that's what we use at Critical Square too as our directional ranking of choice. There's no *right* ranking, however. They look at different criteria and employ various weights. Some are overly simple in their methodologies (e.g. ROI only) and some can be overcomplicated to a fault.
If you're curious about how rankings actually work and what they look for, check out: [How Rankings Work].
It also has the latest rankings for each of the major sources. Which ranking you use really comes down to what's most important to you.
In most cases, it makes sense to use multiple ranking sources together to triangulate what you think the true relative value of a program is.
I hope that helps!
