LPU has a very large campus that includes 57 buildings, girls' and boys' dormitories, a large indoor stadium, two large auditoriums, numerous kiosks, and one more thing: a large mall called UNI-MALL. In this mall, you can find CCD, Domino's, a gym, delicious sweets, three full-fledged working banks, and a number of ATMs. LPU also features a swimming pool that complies with international swimming standards. I learned that LPU offers all these possibilities to students who choose residential facilities at a discounted rate. The Campus Hostel offers all amenities, and you can choose the lodging that best meets your needs and your budget. • Zero Ragging/Zero Discrimination: At LPU, no one is ragged; in fact, the term is nonexistent. Seniors and juniors are treated equally on campus and in the dorm, demonstrating the total secularism of LPU culture. Thus, unlike other campus hostels, there is no segmentation of the students according to academic year. Students from all parts of the nation and neighbouring nations enrol at LPU and live in the same dormitory without being treated differently. • Food/Mess: It is clean and properly cooked when it is first prepared. The cuisine changes every day. Both traditional North Indian meals and South Indian food are available. The LPU hostels provide four meals per day. Make careful you don't miss them because they have set times. Additionally, there is no restriction on how much you can have. The fact that vegetarian food is provided, as is the case at other universities, is another information I learned from my colleagues. On campus, there are a number of cafes and canteens that you can occasionally visit. Inside the campus, there are over 358 stores that offer a wide range of food, from continental to south Indian, at extremely poor prices. Food is not a problem at all at LPU. Hi there, LPU offers world's largest residential facility that provide roof to more than 25000 students at one time . More than 60000+ Meals served per Day. The hostel facilities that are provided by university are as follows-
Separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus.
Rooms with attached washroom, bed (without mattress), table, chair and almirahs.
Air cooler / Air Conditioner facility in each room (as opted).
Arrangement for power supply through dedicated 24 hours hotlines.
Geyser in each room to provide hot water in winters (scheduled timings) for two hours per room every day or as decided by the University.
In-campus Hospital with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students.
Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only and subject to conditions.
Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler).
Mess facility with vegetarian meals only.
Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only.
Gymnasium (optional on payment basis).
Students in residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Extra electricity bill due to the usage of these electrical items will be borne by the respective students.
