What is the source of this question? Every single answer choice here is terrible. The intended meaning of the sentence is also illogical. If parents see their adult children as adolescents, it should say "many parents," not "few parents."
My recommendation: stop studying from this source. It is clearly not GMAT-like. Please also post your source, so that other students can learn which sources are bad sources.
