Hi, I'm working in a power company for the last 6 months and am fresh out of college. I come from a premium college in India and wish to do an MBA from a reputed foreign university that has option for scholarships and /or lower fees and admits freshers. Kindly guide me as to how and where to apply and what should I target.

I was thinking of LBS and HEC. Are there American Colleges I can apply to?

What you are referring to, I believe are the MiM programs. Those are about right for you.
In America, you have HBS 2+2 and Yale silver scholars for outgoing students.

Hii Joe,

LBS MiM is a 12 Month Programme whereas its Regular MBA is of 15-21 months..
And,Yale's Silver Scholars seems to be a different programme from its Regular MBA Programme..
And,HBS 2+2 and Regular MBA go to the same class..(Educate me if I am wrong on this part)

So,as an U.G. I am in a dilemma as some people tell that these programmes dont have the meat of their Regular MBA's and it is always better to go for Regular MBA's,after getting some years of Work-Ex..
But,few say that U.G.'s are young and dynamic and getting an MBA at this age might help scale up your organisation or position in an organisation at a faster pace.

So,can you please educate me about the pro's and con's of getting an MBA through MiM/Yale Silver Scholars..

As far as i am aware Yale Silver scholar and HBS 2+2 program are for students who are in the final year of the college and not for recently graduated.

If you are looking at MiM and other programs, I would suggest you to look into Msc Programs, Especially if your bachelors was related to business!

Hope this Helps! :)
