Being an Alumni,I would like to answer this question. Acccording to my friend’s views on LPU are: LPU is the best university for pursuing the B.Design(Animation), as there will be team-based and individual study will prepare you for work within a dynamic and exciting industry. The degree will produce graduates able to work in a rapidly expanding digital sector including, but not limited to, film, games, education, and engineering Career opportunities for a Computer Animation and Visual Effects graduate include modeling, rigging and VFX technicians, lighting and texturing artists, 3D animators, camera trackers and compositors, as well as individual entrepreneurship. Other career options include Freelancer, Graphic Designers, Illustrators, Comic Artists, Pre-press Artists, Graphic Designer and Educators Opportunities include pursuing higher studies in reputed universities in India and abroad. High focus on developing design thinking and intensive practical training through exploration of courses graphic design for Print Media, Interactive Media and Motion Graphics. Curriculum is equipped with latest industry relevant software on high-end workstations. The university offers B.Design (Graphics) programme that has the duration of 4 years. Internationally accepted programme for global careers, which trains students in the domains of print, package design, UI/UX design, motion graphics and environmental graphics. The eligibility of course is –
Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST* or UCEED or Under Graduate NID DAT (Prelims) or Under Graduate NIFT or NIFT B.FTech. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.
