Got 690 on the prep test on MBA.com, how to proceed?

Hi,
I just started my prep for GMAT. I am planning to give the exam in April/May 2015. I got 690 on the 1st prep test. 48 Quant, 34 Verbal. How should I proceed from here? I faced maximum difficulty in sentence correction. Is joining a prep institute recommended or is self study sufficient?
