Just completed my test, scored a meager 720 ( I am an Indian, and i wont get anything with this ). Very sad but still want to give some crucial advice to others. Please do not take these lightly.
- Take GMAT to be another exam, the more you think of it as a hurdle, the more likely it is that you will fall.
Always stabilize your scores on various tests and then go for GMAT ( My scores ranged from 680-750 at home ) - actual exam ditched me
Your scores are directly proportional to your hold on your nerves.
Test is manageable if you have practiced speed in AWA along with speed in other two sections.
You tend to score lesser on the actual GMAT. (Take my scores as example)
Practice MGMATs definitely.
Sleep well before the exam.
Do not take breaks when sitting at home and practicing.
Do not take the last questions lightly, devote enough time for those. I always, always bungled my last ten questions. This repeated in the actual exam too.
There are two ways to excel at the exam: practice and practice.
For Indian students: verbal can ditch anytime, always practice more than what is required.
