For how many integers X is 4x=x^4?

Nope the Official answer for this is 2. (C)

The explanation was : The only 2 integers for which the stm is true are : 2 and 4

This question is from McGraw Hills - Practice test 1.

I think the question itself is flawed. Any views?

Then the question must be For how many integers X is 4^x=x^4?

then your explanation fits the bill!

Yeah the question is surely flawed. For the given equation 4x= X^4, the only possible sol. would be 1, which is the value Zero.
