I have been getting faster and better at my reading comprehension. However, I can't fix the inference problems. I seem to always choose the wrong answer choice. I know I am very close to cracking the code. Can someone help? MY second problem is that I seem to get nice answers like 6 correct out of 7 or 5 correct out of 7 and then completely bomb a another set of questions. IS there an explanation for this?
Confused yet strong!

RC is one of the most difficult topics to coach people on because it depends so much on the individual. One strategy that works well for one person may not do anything for another. If you haven't done so already, I advise you to check out the RC resources available at:

Try not to read into your hit rates (ex. 6 out of 7 correct...)--they don't really tell you anything or help you learn. Instead, do some deep analysis of your errors and try to understand why you keep getting certain questions wrong.
With RC, I've found that it just takes a lot of practice to get into the mentality of answering these kinds of questions. You will not likely find a quick strategy to improve.
Best of luck!

As I said before, RC depends a lot on the individual.
What strategies have you used to attack inference questions in the past, and why do you think they have failed?
