If a spaceship travels at an average speed of 6 x 10^10 kilometers per year, how many years will it take the spaceship to travel 3 x 10^30 kilometers?

a) 5 x 10^2
b) 10^11
c) 5 x 10^19
d) 5 x 10^20
e) 5 x 10^21

Answer: C

This is basic Rate*Time = distance problem.

rate = 6*10^10
Distance = 3*10^30

D/r = time


1/2* 10^20 or 5*10^19
