I want to prepare for GMAT

by Silvester Norman » Mon Jul 01, 2013 6:55 pm
Hello there,

My name is Silvester and I'm a software engineer. I wanted to change my profession for a better living. How GMAT could help me making my career? Can I start preparing for GMAT on my own or should I take tuitions for it?

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated!

Hi Silvester - welcome to BTG! You've come to the right place for GMAT prep. Dive in with the forums and do some practice tests. You can also check out the 60 Day Study Guide, that's an excellent resource if you're self-directed.

Many people also find that a class is what they need for success so that might be the best option for you, depending on your learning style and preferences.

Good luck!

The Graduate Management Admissions Test is a vital aspect of the application process to most accredited graduate business schools. The test, which has scores ranging from 400 to 800, has four main components: a quantitative multiple choice section, a verbal multiple choice section, Integrated Reasoning and one thirty minute essay.
