Hi Brent et. al,
So, I'm on Day 23 of the guide today after taking GMAT Prep #1 for the second time yesterday. I'm seeing improvement! On my first take I scored a 660 (Q42 V38) and yesterday I managed to improve to a 700 (Q47 V39). I'm much more confident in math after the first 22 days and somehow my verbal increased even though I haven't looked at any verbal questions.
Quant has always been my weaker of the two subjects, so now that the guide is transitioning over to Verbal, how do I keep the Quant fresh and keep the momentum going from that Q47?
Thanks in advance.
Alex

Hey Alex,
Congratulations on the 5-point quant increase - that's fantastic!
I'm a big believer in the "fermentation process" that takes place with learning new concepts, so I think that you needn't worry about forgetting everything over the coming days when you switch over to Verbal content.
Also keep in mind that the last 18 days of the Guide are devoted taking practice tests and working on weaknesses. So, if you've forgotten a concept or two, you have time to jog your memory.
However, if you're still concerned that, after covering the Verbal content, your math skills will be back to where you started, you can always devote a little time to math each day. Perhaps review any notes you've taken, try a handful of practice questions, browse various math topics on Beat The GMAT, etc.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Brent

Very helpful. I think I'll review some math stuff here and there when I feel like I might be forgetting something. Devoting time to Verbal will allow me to really hone my skills and maybe get me into that mid-40 range.
Thanks Brent!
Thanks Brent!
