thoughts on GMAT practice tests..?

by faigenistic » Wed Feb 11, 2009 8:00 am
hey everyone, been studying for the GMAT for about a month now and am planning on taking it for the first time next Monday..

I recently found the links to other free CAT tests on this forum (awesome, thanks!), so as of now, I've taken the following:

mba.com (download test#1): 640
mba.com (download test#2): 650
Kaplan free test: 620

I am going to take the others (Princeton, Veritas, and Manhattan) all before the test. Which is the best in evaluating what I actually might score on the test? Also, if I continually score in the mid 600's on all of these tests as I have so far, is that what I can expect to see?

Thanks.

Just a comment that no matter what practice tests you take, the best way to really improve from them is to analyze the questions that you missed and study those types of questions until you really know how to do them. Just taking practice tests is good for text environment prep but not for learning how to get better.

You're welcome, just trying to help. I took all the free tests and didn't think that any was significantly better than any other.
