Best strategy to study

Best strategy to study

Hi
Which strategy is better: studying first all math or all vebal material, or combining even if is in the same day both type of material. I have been study for 2 months although I have not done too well on the tests and now I am reviewing again all the material, including all the great tips on this forum and I was just wondering which strategy would be more effective.

During my preparation, I had somewhat of a "combined" approach to covering math and verbal material, based on the advice that TwinnSplitter provides in his post.

One way I would think about prepping is to start with the subject you are stronger first, then to cover your weaker subject second. That way, you will be more fresh on your "weaker" subject by the time you take your test--just one idea.

I don't think all verbal vs. all math matters so much as doing one question type at a time for 1-2 hours. Focus on just algebra, then just critical reasoning, or whatever. Get into the swing of things on just one type and you'll see the mistakes you're making much faster. It doesn't matter if you do math or verbal first.
