We use "one another" to denote a reciprocal relationship among members of a group. For example, "the teammates hugged one another," is appropriate usage - teammates are engaged in an activity with other teammates - but "the team hugged one another" is not appropriate, as "team" is singular, and thus there is no other entity for the "team" to interact with.akash singhal wrote:Almost like clones in their similarity to one another, the cheetah species' homogeneity makes

In E, we have "Almost like clones in their similarity to one another, members of the cheetah species are especially vulnerable to disease because of their homogeneity." "One another" is used appropriately here. It is part of an introductory modifier referring to "Members."
In B, we have the "Almost like clones in their similarity to one another, the cheetah species is especially vulnerable to disease because of its homogeneity."
Here we have one species, and there is no other entity for that species to be similar to.
