Starting off GMAT

by Jmas » Mon Oct 29, 2012 1:46 pm
Hello,

I am about to start studying for the GMAT but just wanted some advice regarding books.

What is/are considered most popular study guides/books that are essential in order to get a good GMAT score. I have been leaning towards the Manhattan prep books since I have heard good things about those

In any case, my math ability is not the best and I am worried about the quant section more than anything else.

I don't really have a set time table to write the test since I don't want to rush into it and screw it up, that's why I figure I'll take my time and get all the concepts down. I am thinking early to mid Feb 2013 is when I'll be ready to write the exam at the latest.

I'd appreciate the feedback and any suggestions. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed by all this since this is a MAJOR step in my life.

Thanks guys
