Shortened surname and GMAT entry

by shanithilak » Sat Feb 18, 2012 12:16 pm
I recently scheduled a session to take the GMAT, which will be in about 6 weeks time in London.

However, after registering I realised that my registration name on MBA.com and my passport don't match. I have quite a long surname, and usually shorten this to make things easy both professionally and in my personal life, so completely overlooked it when setting up the exam.

Will this likely cause a problem with being able to do the exam? I've sent a note to the MBA.com site, but won't hear back for a few days, and wondered if anyone else on this forum had experienced similar things?

Any advice much appreciated!

In my opinion this thing can create a big mess in examination, You should contact the management through internet for correction.
