The answer IMOE. Most of the other options are either run-ons, because the clauses in most other options are juxtapositioned as called in traditional grammar, or ungrammatical. Only option E gives a proper grammatical construction; the initial supplementive clause is immediately followed by its noun subject 'Charles Lindenberg'. The participle reluctant syntactically relates to Charles Lindenberg appropriately.

Obviously if E is correct it would be correct in every grammatical manner and the one those are not because
they follow ungrammatical norms.... thats known
what are those norms I am more interested in knowing that my friend....

Here, a comma incorrectly serves to connect two complete sentences.
This error is known as a COMMA SPLICE.
In A, it is possible to replace the comma with a period:
Charles Lindbergh was very reluctant to have any extra weight. He therefore refused to carry even a pound of mail.
If a comma can be replaced by an period, eliminate the answer choice.
Eliminate A.
In B, it is unclear whether being very reluctant serves to modify the preceding clause (when Charles Lindbergh was attempting) or the following clause (he refused to carry).
It must be clear what a modifier is modifying.
Eliminate B.
In general, COMMA + being is to be avoided on the GMAT.
C: Since he was very reluctant, so Charles Lindbergh...
Here, since and so are redundant.
Eliminate C.
D: Being very reluctant...was the reason that Charles Lindbergh refused.
Conveyed meaning:
The reason that Charles Lindbergh refused was being very reluctant.
This meaning is nonsensical.
Eliminate D.
The correct answer is E.
