Hi there, To be honest, INSEAD could be quite a reach school but it's always worth a shot if you are willing to apply. I would definitely apply to some other schools as backup. Firstly, 2/5 years of work experience is on the lower side for INSEAD. So you would really need to show high level or achie...

Hi, I would definitely get a few years of work experience under your belt. It's very competitive getting into business schools so you have to stand out from the crowd - however you didn't mention which ones you might be targeting? US schools? Europe? Where exactly? Most schools requires some work ex...

Hi, It sounds a bit rushed to me. Writing the essays and application can take much more time that you think. But if you have the next few weeks off entirely and can dedicate it to study and the application then it is do-able. You could always push the gmat date to closer to the application deadline ...

Hi Karembeu, From what you have shared it sounds like you've got a great profile for the top 10 schools. Are you just focusing on US schools? If not, usually international experience is important to schools abroad. Your academics are great - your gmat is fantastic. You've got some great work experie...

Hi Manuji, I'm still missing some key info to do a proper assessment but here goes with what you have provided... 680 is a great score but if you are aiming for a top 10 school, it's best to shoot higher. Not sure what your percentiles are in verbal and quant but this too should be above 75th percen...

Hi there, You've got a very interesting profile... Sounds like your academics are great and of course a 740 GMAT would be terrific- definitely good to achieve this or higher for these 2 schools. Your work experience and projects sounds great - need to demonstrate your leaderships skills through your...

Yes absolutely they count! If you can comment on the exposure/involvement and interaction and hopefully what insights you gained or something you learned from working with international clients then that's even better. Try and list as many international experiences as possible by backing them up wit...

Hi there, Both scores will be taken into account (not an average). But they won't solely base your academics on this. You will need to write the GMAT or GRE to be admitted to most business schools. The Gmat score is weighed the most and can definitely compensate for a lower GPA. So if you have a low...

Or since you have already included 2 supervisors, you could always use a peer/colleague that works closely with you. You don't need to necessarily use a 3rd supervisor. Going 8-9 years back is a bit far.

Also Bhavik's idea is a great one.

Do extra-curriculars really matter in b-school applications?

Hi hutch, Congratulations on your new lucrative 'side' business! You can DEFINITELY use this experience in conjunction with your 9-5 job as this will add value to your profile and show leadership and success (even though you don't want this as a full time job). Michigan states that they 'evaluate wo...
