Hi, The score you got is fairly correct, 29 correct on verbal would get you around scaled score of 40. the pronoun reference error is so profound here that i preferred to choose B, however later realized to my dismay i have just got wrong here...
The so as to is certainly unidiomatic and only D serves better :))))
